FOG Media Application Work

Been a while since I've posted anything on here, so here's some work I've been doing lately.
I've been applying for Illustration/Concept Art jobs and an Internet Gaming Compsny had a bit of interest in me. After the interview, they set me up with a mock project to test my abilities to their requirments. The project was pretty simple: They had an exsisting puzzle car game that they felt looked a bit out dated. The system and mechanics worked fine, it just needed a face lift. So they asked me to redesign the game with a New York City theme to it.

So here's some of the stuff I did for them....

Here's a little example video of what it would all look like in-game. Apologies for the crap compression!

E-Shout: Growing Greener

Hi Guys,

Exciting times. I've just recently finished a freelance job for web design company called E-Shout Solutions Limited. They've made a site for a local school wanting to show them making a green, friendly and all round environmentally sound garden. Bless 'em! I was tasked with providing all the illustrations to be used on the website based on what the kids wanted.

So hear it is....

Kuro Dragon Work

I've been approached by a guy setting up his new animation company based in Newcastle called, Kuro Dragon.
He wanted a background design for his website set both in day and night as well as character design of the company mascot 'Kuro' himself. Apparently Kuro is Japanese for 'black', hence the black dragon below!
So here's some of the design work I've done for him...

Bedroom Painting

This is an acrylic painting I did on my old bedroom wall when I was about 15. The original image is from an artist called Clayton Crane

This was my bedroom door, again painted when I wa about 15. I can't remember the name of the original artist I'm afraid!

Well, hi to anyone who's looking at this blog. Since the shut down of my site, this blog is going to be my portfolio, sketchbook and contain any and all random doodle nonsense that I can think of!

So, let's start strong. Over the next few days, I'll be updating quite a bit of work, then I'll be creating a hell of a lot more.

I'm looking forward to this new start :D
